She loved peach trees with fine flowers and sweet fruits most. Unexpectedly, one year, the plague prevailed and claimed many people's lives, and the villagers were miserable. This woman took peach blossoms as guiding medicine, and prepared medicine for everyone, which healed people immediately after they took it. She didn't charge her patients a penny. The patients who were cured by her didn't know how to repay her, so inspired by her, everyone spontaneously planted peach trees on both sides of the stream. In less than a day, the mountain became full of peach blossoms and the stream became a peach blossom stream. This is not only the legend of the Peach Blossom Girl but also the origin of Taohuajian. According to "Gu Zhi", in the outer pond of Zhengxiling, Yuntai Mountain, there was a woman surnamed Xie and she was intelligent and good at medicine. There was a peach tree in the back of her house. The sick person would be cured after taking the medicine she made with peach blossom. They tried to pay her with gold and silks, but she didn't accept any payment. She said, "If you really want to thank me, each of you could plant two peaches to benefit the future generations." This scenic spot is very popular with young people. There is a saying in Taohuajian, "Come to Taohuajian and meet your destined lover. Visit the Peach Blossom Girl and be loved by your lover."
