General Cliff Rock Painting is located in the south of Wanzhangya Mountain, which is called Houxiaoshan by locals. It was discovered during the census of cultural relics in 1979 and was designated as a national cultural relics protection unit by the State Council in January 1988. Rock paintings are engraved with human faces, animal faces, meridians, sun patterns, fish-shaped patterns, crop patterns and various mysterious symbols. At that time, according to the style depicted by rock paintings, stone tools unearthed around them and the measurement of carbon 14, it can be fully concluded that this is the product of the middle and late Neolithic Age, which has a history of about 10,000 years. It is the original archives engraved on stone by our ancestors, and it is also the only stone carving picture reflecting the social life of primitive agricultural tribes in China.
